Tiandao Who?

Just finished an absolutely awesome trip with my girlfriend to Tiandao Hu and Tonglu. I tell you what, I've never heard much about Tiandao before this trip, but it is just absolutely gorgeous!!! The weather was so nice and cool, the water was so beautiful and blue, and I definitely understand why they call it the "One-Thousand Island Lake". We went to 4 different islands and each of them provided something interesting and fun to see. The first island was called "Monkey Island" and iteven had a statue of monkeys as you approach it by boat. It was so cool to see all the monkeys hanging out in the wild (not behind bars like you would typically see in a zoo). Plus taking pictures with them is really cool too. The 2nd island we went to was filled with ostriches and you can even sit down on one and pose for a picture for only 2 rmb!!! AWESOME!!! (See my pic in my photo album). The 3rd island we went to had breathtaking views of the most beautiful islands and the bluest water you will ever see! The 4th island we saw was called something like "Dragon Island" and had really cool bridges which you could cross and really reminded me of the bridge from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom... plus it also had some areas where you can take off your shoes and play in the beautiful water.
